This website is my personal portfolio. I am Nikhil Khedlekar, an independent professional based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and I am the person responsible for the personal data described on this page (the “data controller”).

Analytics (only with your consent where required). If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 collects information about your visit: pages viewed, approximate location (country and city level), device and browser type, language, how you arrived on the site, and a random identifier stored in a cookie. I use this to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. My legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR / UK GDPR). Outside the regions that require consent, the basis is my legitimate interest in understanding how my portfolio is used.
Server and hosting logs. The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical data such as your IP address, requested page and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure. I do not use this data to identify you.
Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google servers and your IP address is sent to Google when the page loads.
When you contact me. If you email me, call me or message me on LinkedIn, I receive the details you choose to share (such as your name, email address and message). I use them only to reply and to continue the conversation you started, and keep them only as long as that is useful.

The analytics cookies are only set if you accept. My Google tag is configured with Google Consent Mode, so Google Analytics storage stays off until you give consent. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization are always denied.
Change your choice at any time: use the cookie button at the bottom-left of any page, or the button below. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
These providers act on my behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms. I do not share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based in or process data in the United States and other countries outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in my Google Analytics account, no longer than 14 months. Emails and messages are kept only as long as needed for the conversation and for any resulting work together.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, move it to another service, and withdraw consent at any time (withdrawing does not affect processing before withdrawal). Because analytics data is pseudonymous, I may not be able to identify your records without extra information, but I will do what I reasonably can. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK, or the authority in your EU country.
This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. They have their own privacy policies and I am not responsible for them.
This site is aimed at professionals and is not intended for children. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If I change how the site handles data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
